A little about us
Th3 Urja is a young indie rock band transitioning from local music students to the Nepalese alternative music scene. Started out as school friend performing at small events throughout KTM,Nepal as a group, we are energetic group of aspiring members to push through the ceiling of Music and life. where the sound sits somewhere between indie-rock with songs that tend to express the journey and thought of individuals.
The early years are scrappy in the best way. Small venues, self-recorded demos, and a growing reputation built almost entirely by word of mouth. A few key releases earning spots on curated shows and landing some well-timed support slots we are eager to do more and express ourselves through the beats and rhythms.

As a performer, I have gained experience through live performances and collaborations within Nepal's growing music scene. Alongside my musical journey, I currently teach music at Imperial World School and Elites Kids Zone, sharing my knowledge and passion for music with young learners. I am also pursuing a Diploma in Vocal Performance (Major) at Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, further developing my skills in vocal technique, performance, and contemporary music.

My approach to drumming has been shaped by consistent practice, live performances, and the experience of working closely with other musicians. Performing as part of a band has strengthened my sense of rhythm, musical discipline, adaptability, and ability to contribute effectively within an ensemble. I'm continuously focused on refining my technique, developing a stronger musical identity, and expanding my understanding of rhythm and live performance.
